My BRZ's left rear tire developed a nice quarter inch crack in its side wall, when i made the stupid mistake of taking a turn to sharp and a driving over a curb with it. Does anyone know if Subaru had any coverage for this type of thing like Toyota did with the FRS where they would replace them if they were worn out, and would somthing like this be covered?

Here's what you're supposed to say to them: "Uhh I was driving and all of a sudden it just popped. It's not supposed to do that, so I was hoping I could get a new one because it's your defective tire that you gave me that could've killed me."

As somebody who used to work at a bike shop, the phrase "I was just driving along" sounds way too much like "I was just riding along when, suddenly the head tube snapped all on its own, I wasn't even doing a drop off of a dock or anything!"
